1. Introduction to Argentina
From the tropical climate of the north, to the icy seas of the south, South America is home to many natural wonders including the gigantic Amazon River and the surrounding rainforest. The official language is Spanish and the currency is the Argentine peso.

2. History
Argentina has had a turbulent history where enormous abuses of power have taken plan. Peron, Galtieri, Menem and De La Rua are among the leaders discussed.

3. Evita
Evita grew up from an impoverished background to become one of the most influential and popular women in Argentina. Madonna starred in the film 'Evita' documenting her life.

4. The Falklands War
In 1982 Britain went to war with Argentina over the Falkland Islands.

5. Diego Maradona
Diego Maradona is Argentina's greatest sporting hero. Against England in the 1986 World Cup he scored two of the most remarkable goals ever, each remarkable for a very different reason.

6. At rest at last
When Evita died her body was preserved by an embalmer. She was buried in Italy but eventually brought home.

7. The Dirty War
Between 1976 and 1983 Argentina was ruled by dictators who had methods for dealing with the opposition.
