Isolearn Technology Ltd. is a company dedicated to producing high quality digital content for students delivered in a variety of methods.
The company will start delivering content for Maths, Physics and Applied Maths. Later on, we will move on to other subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Accounting, Geography and others.
What does storyboarding involve?
Storyboarding involves taking some content and writing it in a format that allows
animators to turn that content into a digital format.
What skills are required?
Obviously a good knowledge of the subject material is the most important skill
required.
A knowlege of software packages to present the storyboard in the best possible
way.
Drawing package (Example: CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator)
Maths Equations (Example: MathsType)
Desktop publishing package (Examples: Adobe Pagemaker, QuarkXpress)

How do I become a storyboarder?
Step 1: Download this word document: Application
form. Fill in the document. Save it as your name (Ex. Patmurphy.doc) and
return as an attachment to editor@studentxpress.ie.
Step 2: You will be contacted by a member of the Isolearn team inviting you to demonstrate your skill potential through carrying out an asignment. You will be given some content and asked to produce a storyboard based on this content.
Step 3: If we feel you have the necessary skills to be a storyboarder, you will be invited to further training at our offices in Dublin. A forum for storyboarders will be be set up that will allow storyboarders to communicate with each other to develop their skills and learn off each other. Methods for storyboarding are evolving. The input of storyboarders in this area will be an essential element in the development of the company.
Once I become a storyboarder how will I receive work
and get paid for my work?
When work becomes available, every suitable storyboarder will be emailed that
new work is available on a website.
Storyboarders will be invited to bid for the work based on price and the time
schedule required.
When the work is completed and signed off, payment is automatically transferred
to the account of the storyboarder.
Where do I carry out the work?
All the work done by storyboarders can be carried out at home using a computer.
